DIGITAL PULSE MIXER
Glas-Col''s Digital Pulse Mixer is capable of performing high or low speed pulse vortexing/mixing for most applications. This unit is able to accomodate a wide variety of glassware, racks, well plates or reactor blocks for accurate, repeatable results.
The microprocessor based control technology allows for display of speed, multi-function timer, and pulse profiling. Using the RS232 communications port and available LabNetix® software package, several units can be controlled through your personal computer.

LARGE CAPACITY MIXER
The versatility of Glas-Col''s Large Capacity Mixers makes it a perfect choice for any laboratory. The unique design of the system allows for a variety of mixing applications to be handled with one unit. Whether you need gentle, orbital-type shaking or more vigorous vortexing of a sample, the Large Capacity Mixer can fill both needs. The unit is also designed to handle a wide variety of vessels from micro-centrifuge tubes to large vessels, such as Erlenmeyer flasks. The interchangeable cartridge system allows the user to quickly switch from one type of vessel to another, or to mix more than one type of vessel at a time. Custom cartridges can also be designed for special applications. The cartridges are made of chemical resistant foam and ABS plastic.
- At the low end of the 100-2000 rpm speed range, the sample is mixed with a gentle, orbital motion. The high end of the range will mix the sample with a vigorous vortexing action.
- Pulsing feature can be used to interrupt the mixing process, to join upper and lower strata, for more thorough mixing.
- DC motor, the filtered control, allows the Large Capacity Mixer to run smoothly and quietly, and prolongs the operating life of the unit.

Cartridges are available for test tubes and centrifuge tubes and can be used with capped or uncapped tubes. The blank cartridges allow the use of most standard tube racks. Each cartridge is constructed of chemical resistant foam and ABS plastic. The unit easily adjusts for different height tubes. The contents of the tubes remain visible during mixing, and sample can be added to uncapped tubes without stopping the action. Other features include:
- variable speed.
- pulsing feature interrupts vortexing to join upper and lower strata for more thorough mixing.
- DC motor with filtered control for smoother operation and longer motor life.
The drive base and upper section are hardcoat anodized for resistance to most acids and solvents.
Each Multi-Pulse Vortexer comes with two cartridges, one for 12-13 mm diameter tubes and one for 15-16 mm diameter tubes. |

TOUCH VORTEXER
The Touch Vortexer mixes test tubes contents thoroughly and quickly with a vortexing action that swirls the liquid. The unit may be set to run continuously or to activate when any tube up to one inch is touched to the cup.
Designed with a permanent-magnet, filtered DC motor, the Touch Vortexer will run coolor with less motor stress. The variable-speed motor produces constant power and is less susceptible to overloading when excess pressure is applied. The Touch Vortexer is on of the most durable, user-friendly small vortexers available today.
