生物应用

该重组萤火虫荧光素酶是从来自北美萤火虫(Photinus pyralis)的克隆基因表达的酶,其提供使用生物发光试剂检测ATP或荧光素底物进行研究或生产试剂盒所需的可靠性和可靠性。 该重组酶可以潜在地消除可能在从天然来源纯化的荧光素酶中发现的季节性和区域变异性的可能性。

该酶与荧光素,ATP和O2的反应导致光的发射。 荧光素酶可用于检测痕量的ATP。 萤火虫荧光素酶也是基因表达研究中最常用的报告基因之一。 荧光素酶催化的生物发光反应是测量基因表达的最灵敏的分析工具之一。 通过使用0.2μg荧光素酶可以检测小于或等于1飞摩尔的ATP。
